IBAO searches for new CEO
Jim Murphy is moving on after less than a year

The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario is looking for a new CEO. The association announced Wednesday that Jim Murphy, who came into the role just under a year ago, is moving on, effective immediately.
IBAO says a plan has been put in place to make sure operations are being well managed in the interim period.
Chair Michael Brattman said this was an important time for the association. “The broker channel faces several exciting developments including innovation, product reform and finding new ways to attract and serve our clients,” he explained. He also said the association is looking for a leader with a vision for IBAO.
