MGB Claims Consultants acquires ProFormance Group
Company aims to strengthen TPA division

MGB Claims Consultants has acquired ProFormance Group Insurance Solutions Inc.
The company announced Wednesday that the addition was part of a larger strategy to strengthen MGB’s presence in the Canadian marketplace, as well as Lloyd’s of London.
ProFormance, which was founded in 2008, provides third party administration and adjusting services. MGB noted ProFormance’s presence in the London market and said that it was particularly interested in how acquisition would strengthen its existing TPA division.
MGB was founded in 2010 and is a small, boutique firm that aims to take a more specialized approach to each claim.
