Sales secret: A perceived weakness can actually be a strength
Meeting the Challenge
It’s only ridiculous if that’s what you believe.
As a young advisor myself, there were countless times throughout my career where I thought being young was an obstacle to overcome — the reality was it was a strength I had to learn to properly utilize. That being said, age does not matter unless it matters to you. There are younger advisors that would like to work in the senior market and would be happy to partner with someone with more experience.
At 59 years old, there is a tremendous opportunity to accomplish so much within the next 8-10 years! If you structure your business correctly (either on your own or with a younger partner) you stand to do very well.
You have a lot of personal and professional experience to bring to the table, share that value without reservation!
Best of luck,
Kyle
